Welcome back!Today is the first day of school!
Students and teachers were all smiles today, getting to know one another and making new friends!
Kindergarten (K2 pictured) has already "hit the ground walking" by logging their time and mileage as part of the Blue Cross Blue Shield "Walking Works" program.
Ms. Mabry gave all of the students a special blue bracelet and started recording their "five minutes a day" walking at recess time!
Our newest teacher Ms. Hughes was busy with her students making class books. Students enjoyed cutting out shapes to create their own Chicka-Chicka-Boom-Boom coconut trees for their book covers. They will add to the book each day this week and then bind and put their books in their classroom library.
It was a great day for all!
