Sunflowers and herbs abound at St. Peter's! Ms. Schlosser's careful watering and our heaven-sent rain have kept our garden well-hydrated this summer.
Check out our sunflowers-- The first photo shows one of the plants today (over three feet tall) and the second photo shows the plant size from our planting day April 19th, nearly two months ago! Eventually, we hope to have a "wall of sunflowers" in this area.
One bed is full of orange mint, chocolate mint, cilantro, basil, lavender and rosemary. The second bed is showing some beautiful green tomatoes, so we should have some soon! More photos of new beds for planting are coming soon.
