On Thursday, November 12, second graders went exploring at Reflection Riding. Maddy’s grandfather, Mr. Hopkins, served as our guide and taught us so much about our beautiful surroundings. In connection with our curriculum studies of Native Americans, Pioneers, Nature, and Exploration the field trip was a hands on experience we will never forget. Students enjoyed feeding trout, observing a worm farm, and participating in the garden created for the visually impaired; as well as hiking the trails, locating various landmarks, and exploring a bamboo forest.
