VIVA St. Peter's Auction Turn-In Deadline
Please turn in auction forms/items by next Friday, January 29. Remember you get 1 SPPAT volunteer hour for every item you acquire (just make sure to record on your volunteer card!) If you own a business and would to like to donate time or a service, just complete an auction form and turn in!

Annual Fund Participation Deadline is Jan. 31
For your child's class to qualify for 100% participation at the Sports Barn gymnastics party, your gift MUST be received by Friday, January 29th. Unpaid pledges do not apply to the participation goal. Although, pledge payments and gifts to the Annual Fund may be made until May 31, the deadline for the class participation party is January 31.

Haven't made your gift or payment yet? You can go directly to www.saintpetersschool.net and click on "Advancement" and make your Annual Fund gift on our secure site. Credit card gifts online can be made with Visa, Mastercard or Discover.

PUMP IT UP for St. Peter's School Annual Fund

Save the date for Friday, March 5th! That evening, St. Peter's will host a "Parents Night Out" fundraiser at Pump It Up to benefit the Annual Fund. Here are the details:

  • Party is from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
  • St. Peter's students (K-5th grade) may participate; this is a private party, with both arenas available
  • Pizza dinner and drinks are provided
  • Cost is $12 for one child, $20 for two children and $8 per additional child (payable at the door)
  • Fully chaperoned party so you can drop the kids off and enjoy an evening out!
  • St. Peter's School keeps 30% of the proceeds!

It's that easy! So mark your calendar now and look for an evite coming soon with all of the details.

GIRL SCOUT COOKIE TIME: St. Peter's own Girl Scout Daisy Troop will be selling Girl Scout cookies this year. Look for order forms in backpacks and support your school's troop. Send your completed form and payment to the school office. Contact Jaime Melton at jmelton@stpeters.org for more information.

PINK DAY COINS FOR A CURE: Send in your loose change (or bills if you wish!) and drop in the PINK heart bucket in your child's classroom. Coins will be collected until winter break.

PRESIDENTIAL PHYSICAL FITNESS TIP: As Ms. Kathy begins Presidential Physical Fitness practice and testing, it is permissible to bring water bottles and/or an ipod/mp3 player (at parents' discretion) to class during February and March.

HATS OFF to our families and staff who partcipated in the My School's Cool fundraising program through Northgate Mall last semester. Our school garnered fourth place, winning $750 for St. Peter's School!

CHORAL PRODUCTION OF BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: Tickets are now available for the fourth and fifth grade production of 'Beauty and the Beast,' on March 11-12. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $3.50 for students/teachers and are available in the Music Room. All ticket proceeds benefit the fifth graders' year-end trip to Kanuga.

DON'T FORGET: While you're at school for parent/teacher confererences, check the tables for Lost and Found items.After Friday, all remaining items will be donated to charity.

BASKETBALL NEWS: Way to go, STORM! Fourth and fifth graders played Oakwood last Friday and the boys' team won their game; the girls gave a great effort! Come support the STORM next Tuesday (Jan. 26) at St. Jude. Girls play at 4:00 and boys play at 5:00.
