Joy of Service Represented at St. Peter's School

***Many of you have asked if St. Peter's Church and School are supporting the Haitians devastated by the earthquake last week. The answer is a resounding yes, and at this point, monetary donations are the greatest need.

Through St. Peter's Church and our affiliation with "Episcopal Relief and Development" (ERD), you may send in a donation (made payable to St. Peter's Church), which will be sent from our parish to the Diocese of Haiti. These donations will be used to help meet critical needs such as food, water and shelter to those affected.

There are three ways you can make a contribution:
1. Send your check (payable to St. Peter's Church) to the school office to be sent from St. Peter's Parish
2. Go online https://www.er-d.org/donate-select.php and make a secure donation, or
3. Make your check payable to Episcopal Relief and Development and send to: P.O. Box 7058 Merrifield, VA, 22116-7058.

The joy of service is just one hallmark of the St. Peter's Difference. At St. Peter's School, students learn that their gift is for giving. The gifts that children have are not just to be used for themselves. In this age of the "me generation," we teach children the joy of finding a purpose larger than themselves and the joy of serving others. Whether reading at Alexian Brothers, collecting food or writing letters to the troops, our students reach those far away and those sitting beside them. This is the St. Peter's Difference.
