This week, the school's Daisy Scouts (Kindergarten and first grade students) tried their hand at camping in preparation for an upcoming overnight trip!
At this meeting, troop leader (and parent) Linda Porfiri and Dave Porfiri led the girls through some basic camp skills including lessons about fire safety and use of camping gear and equipment.
The girls plan to have an overnight camp-out using proceeds from the cookie money they earned during the February sale.
